Opportunities Left is an app for counting what is left of a period you choose. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server of its own. Almost everything it knows stays on your device. This page describes the few things that do not.
Everything you type or choose is stored only on your device, in a folder the app shares with its home screen widget. None of it is uploaded anywhere:
Deleting the app removes all of it.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to answer two questions: whether people who install it go on to make a counter, and whether people who make one go on to add the home screen widget. Two events are recorded.

Firebase itself also records ordinary technical information with these events: a randomly generated identifier for this installation, the device identifier iOS gives to apps from the same developer, your device model and system version, the approximate country inferred from your network address, and the fact that the app was opened. Google processes this on our behalf; see Firebase's privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.
When a counter uses a rule based on public holidays, the app asks the public service at date.nager.at which days are holidays in a given country and year. The request contains only that country code and year. No counter, name, date, or identifier of yours is included.
Analytics events are retained by Google for up to 14 months and are then deleted automatically. Everything else lives on your device and is gone when you delete the app.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing that would identify anyone of any age.
If what the app collects changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
